Fragments: Culture

Just sharing some fragments of thought about Culture:

That culture is a common and consensual delusion: that we weave it between us, but also can become tangled within it.

That we each carry different voices within us, each of which may be heard in different parts of the culture.

That we can act upon culture even when we are not present within it. And conversely that culture can act upon us, even when we are outside of it.

That culture can only be seen in shadows and reflections: that it is individual and yet held between us.

That culture is held in the experience, not the description.
