I’m feeling invigorated around the work on ‘Togetherness – Otherness’ due to being stuck on a train for two hours which gave me some uninterrupted time to review the manuscript so far! Every cloud has a silver lining.
This book will be a sequel to ‘The Humble Leader’, or more specifically will sit in the same series as a ‘guided reflection’, but with a few changes. It will be two books in one – ‘Togetherness’, about our experience of being together, and what it gives us, and ‘Otherness’, with the experiences of being made the other, and what it takes from us. The two books will ‘meet’ in the middle – so as with ‘The Humble Leader’ it will use space, but with a different types of structure… don’t worry, all will become clear!

When there is ‘us’, there will be ‘them’.
When we are together, there will be other.
Togetherness is a feeling, a belief, a bond. A relief at finding others ‘like you’.
Otherness is the strange, the different, the unknown.
Togetherness is about belonging, connection, and purpose.
And sometimes conforming.
Otherness is about separation, silence, and apart.
