Islands of Culture

#WorkingOutLoud today to sketch around culture, specifically how Islands exist: this is part of a reflection on how cultures operate after mergers and acquisition.

Perhaps a supply boat is sent to the island, or maybe we stand on the harbour wall and look at the lights of the party on the distant shore.

Maybe there is a reef that wrecks boats that try to cross (or maybe that is the story that we heard).

  1. Perhaps the tides (the six conditions of systems change) washes in flotsam and jetsam (artifacts or remnants) of the old and new cultures on opposing shorelines, that we can observe and recognize or are merely just grains of sand.
