My Practice #3

Over the last couple of days i have attempted to share a view of my own practice, and today i’ve sketched out a more dynamic view of how it fits together: of course this is an abstraction, a sketch of something more complex.

Ideas sit in the middle, generated from both research, and through performance. Both these aspects inform the ideas, and the ideas are carried into my various and diverse communities as part of a ‘sense making’ process. This leads to artefacts – both knowledge artefacts and fragments of failure. Some artefacts are more static, like books, or dynamic, like stories.

In turn, both dialogue and artefacts inform performance. Hence this is a very dynamic view.
