Cultural Graffiti: A 5 Day Experiment – Day 5 – Guidelines for Graffiti

This is the final day of the 5 Day Experiment exploring Cultural Graffiti, and it asks you to create your Guidelines: for yourself, and others. How will you help people to find a voice and be heard? How will you create a space of sanctioned subversion?

Create your Guidelines: how can your Organisation benefit from, or gain access to, the Cultural Graffiti?

Activity

Write, or draw, your own Guidelines.

Perhaps you wish to shape them as follows:

    1. What SPACES should we cultivate, to permit sanctioned subversion (to see the graffiti)
    2. What is our ROLE as Leaders, to enable people to find their voice?
    3. How should we ACT when we hear a story we do not like?
    4. What from your own experience or exploring Cultural Graffiti can you SHARE, to help others understand that their fears or concerns are not theirs alone?

When you have written them, share them. Remember: the first person to do so may feel nervous, because they are starting the process of aggregation around an idea, and hence experience the greatest social consequence.
